Should managers be sending letters or doing home visits if a postie is off work with depression and is covered by a fit note and also in contact with ATOS.

no they should not put any pressure on you , go back to your docs and tell him/her that there making you feel worse and contact atos and tell them , typical b&h tactics from management.

Knowing our office will close in less than 2 years causes a small amount of depression. We are all trying to pick each other up and carry on

Arrrr Argos, I hate that firm...........They speak to you like s**t and I was the collection driver picking games up. I would love it when a new tosser on the gate would ask me to lower my tail lift so he could look inside and I would say It used to piss them off. But my line manager said I was doing the right thing

Seriously - Managers on all levels should go on a course in how to deal with those with depression. Because most know f*ck all about it and apply their own life experiences in the way they deal with the person with depression!
