Option to Collect

Right. For the a millionth time I wrote out a Pwhatsit for three packets to the same old address yet again, yet again. They were not home as they were at work, again, typical.

Why not have a delivery option at the point of purchase for collect? SD Collect or something. There's just no real point in even going through the motions with some addresses.
Another thought was the after work delivery. :needacollectivescreamiconthere: SD Evening or something. Pay more for this option perhaps? Money is what we are after here not service...

Maybe these have been knocked on the head previously. Just venting a little bit constructively.

A lot of companies won't do that due to the risk of fraud. Saying but I work for X huge mega corporation won't wash as its all or nothing.

So, that leaves us with SD Evening. Seems too simple perhaps.

This really is something RM should look into with packets on the increase and early morning packet duties scrapped in favour of midday P&L deliveries our callers office cannot handle the amount of parcels we return on daily basis so we have to put 24hrs on p739's for everything except sd and tracked this is a massive own goal imo.

Our callers office is coping really well with the D/L parcels.....probably because nothing is leaving the building

Its a good idea companies should offer that at time of purchase some do put on instructions now i had one a little while back telling me where to leave if out.they can be labeled up for customer collect and we just deliver the card similar to the not enough postage cards to say parcel is there for collection saving money and time all round.

Be honest anyone think that the customer gives a flying fook about the hassle it causes RM??? All they care about is that the item is at the callers when its called for OR its redelivered when requested.
