Well we here about these revisions not working.
What area's are failing mail?
Is it as bad as people claim?
Is there a plan for Xmas?
Just give the first part of your postcode,
I.e MK etc.
Interested to know if it's as bad as here?

We're pre-revision and we're failing mail every day.
Not enough prep men, not enough on IPS. Heavy days = part-timers coming in to frames that aren't fully prepped, which is a poor tale when two-thirds of it comes sequenced. IPS boys and girls are on later and later, it's a good job mail's down or we'd be really stuffed.

Biggest problem we've currently got is that last year we were coming in to about 7 or 8 trays of flats. This year we're lucky if we have 2.

Bit of failure during the summer. Now volumes have started picking up, cut offs are building up and being left undelivered for days. Complete rounds are going unprepped and undelivered when anybody is off. Last week they had a bunch of casuals out on a sunday delivering...
These are just teething problems according to our DIM, our revision started in March? How long can these things be considered "teething problems"?

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

there were 100 yorkes undelivered last xmas at our office we have about 80 walks most got done by the end of feb

even in the supposed quiet period staff have left in loops galore & had managers in from other offices delivering & large packets build up day by day 
with xmas coming i feel sorry for the customers with less staff than last year & definitely less goodwill from us posties (mainly due to b & h and either cutting or refusing to pay our overtime) its going to be a total and utter shambles !!-

our office failing most days, 1 manager said to day their not taking the mail thats left. manager also said he knows the new methods are not working, but managers above him want it working otherwise their heads are for the chop!!!!!!! wot a shambles! all mail being left is this wilful delay and if so on who's part ?
