A question about P739 cards...

OK has a bit of a nightmare day today. Anyway I think I may have forgot to leave a P739 card (possibly 2) for a recorded item(s). I really can't recall if I left one or not. No matter how hard I think I just can't remember so chances are I probably didn't. Would I be in trouble for this? Both packets are now back at my office so they aren't missing or anything. Its just the issue with the P739 card(s). I'm newish so just bit worried. would this be classed as wilful delay? Thanks.

Think I have done this, usually when someone has asked me something before I get chance to fill it out (neighbour or passer by) mention it to the locker and see what they say, they told me not to worry as it looked like I had for the I forgot. If not wait til tomorrow when you go back there and knock to see if anyone is home and ask them or put one through the door and write a message on it?

If you had filled a 739 out correctly you would've peeled off one of the barcode stickers. So is there a sticker missing off the item(s)?

Well one of them was peeled off the other wasnt a peely one. had a few that i had to write down so cant recall.

Do you not knock on the door and if it looks like no ones home start writing the card? Then if theres nobody in you drop the card in, puzzles me how you can not be sure if you left one, what did you do ? not knock at all?

well i knock for sure but i reckon i went and put it thru the pda and must of just forgot to put a card in the box...meh!!

Yes you are mate ..take it easy...It's stress that's the killer! I put a 739 in my bundle to remind me I've got a packet for that address (also helps if I've got loads of packets and run out off the 739s in my pocket). Big problem I seem to have (amongst many) is posting Blank 739s with the mail! Normally when I've put it at the back of the Bundle. It's got to the point now that if a customer phones the callers office and says they've got a Blank Red Card the PHG just tells them not worry and explains their Postie is a senile idiot!
