What is a JPS

Can anyone tell me what a JPS is, think this be only option as grevience isn't the way, need more info please.

It's a large earth moving device, uncommonly used to flatten lying, unscrupulous, shitehawk managers when there is no other alternative.

JPS are an employment lawyer specialist in London has it come to that already?

yes General it has, all other options exhasuted, we have no backbone, work over every day, some dont claim O/T and the bullying that goes on is unbelievable, grievence is getting us nowhere.

The JPS brewery. The brewery had a rather complicated history but it had been established by J. P. Simpkiss in Brierly Hill and expanded from there, buying up pubs along the way. In 1955 they amalgamated with the Johnson & Phipps Brewery whose offices were at 43 Lichfield Street and whose brewery was in Fryer Street. The combined firm was called JPS Brewery. Johnson & Phipps had had a compulsory purchase order put on their premises by the Wolverhampton Borough Council. This went through and the brewery was demolished. So all of the JPS Brewery's brewing was done at Brierly Hill. But the two amalgamated companies retained their own identities and the Wolverhampton end retained control of their 17 Wolverhampton pubs.

I remember it well.

In these circumstances it probably stands for "Joint Problem Solving". In other words sit down and sort it out, most likely "facilitated" by somone from outside the office.

I have heard of it on here in passing. IIRC its a group grievance and is quite powerful - perhaps your area or div rep may be able to throw some light on it.

Because the JPS black Lotus car evokes memories for me, I had a Matchbox toy one as did most boys of my age.

Also Nigel Mansell,one of my all time hero's drove one.
