On My Bike !

I've got my EVR! :nana

After 14 years, my last day of service will be 1st December, which is around the same time that Park & Loopy will be introduced at my office.(I suspect)

P&L should have been in months ago but Royal Mail works in mysterious ways!!

Sympathise with all who are left but I don't think I will be missing much.

I'll still be trawling this site, but with a different perspective as a RETIRED Postie! :wave

PS I told the DOM that,when RM re-introduce bikes in a few years time, I'll be available (on a casual basis of course) to maintain them.(Didn't go down too well!) :left:

As an aside, do you know what will happen to all the surplus bikes and who will fix the broken trollies ?

Thanks for your comments people.

Most of the bikes will be going to Africa with a few held in reserve for 'appropriate' walks.

I think the trollies will be maintained by ROMEC, so good luck to them!!

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

There are 11 EVRs at my office (out of about sixty odd duties). Just shows how many hours we're losing when P&L comes in. :shock:
