Just for fun, I thought Id take my handheld GPS receiver out with me today to see how far I travel in a day, today was quite a light load but even so I was surprised by the distance I covered.
From leaving home on bicycle, to the office is about 0.25miles and same again back home. My round took me on 9.5miles, which includes walking up and down everyones pathways.

It would be interesting to compare this with the info provided by geo-route...Bet they don't match up!

Isn't it strange how we will quite happily track ourselves, but if RM were to do it.........

I used jog tracker that was a useful little too, it told me my walk is 6 miles long and it took me 4 hours to do !! that's 30 minutes more than the proper timings, I tried to claim the docket, they kept refusing me, so I just refused to do lapsing as I do not have the "time" to fit it in, no favours, no goodwill, no fcuk all, I now do my job within spec with no lapsing whatsoever.

I did this on my old HTC TyTN II. I was a spare (no walk) at the time and compared many walks before and after Pegaus. I think they varied between 4 and 10 miles.
