They'll probably raise the bag weights you can carry so when you are out there you dont get blown away... all for your own benefit of course! :arrrghhh

The express is a rag, I would not wipe my arse with it. Don't believe a word it says, Remember the hottest summer on record prediction, forecasters are complete crap at long/medium range forecasts there are just to many unknown factors that affect the weather. The only one I would believe with any confidence is the 24hour forecast, and even then its only 70-80% accurate.

Don't know what the "Official" line is...The other week we had torrential rain..1 inch of rain in 2 hours..I was soaked wet through and freezing cold after delivering the 1st bag! And I had another 5 to deliver! I'd spent about 15 mins sheltering in a block of flats and thought bugger this I'm not going to get finished today if I don't get a move on.

However it was a bloody miserable day and I did wonder when we're "Allowed" to say Enough is Enough I'm going home. Any ideas? :hmmmm

Well I didn't think it was that bad out there today in Essex.

Just looked out of my bedroom window and a 40 tree in the street has just blown over!!!!!!!!!!!! :shock:

It's really weird here,sunny as f**k but mega windy.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
