timing of rounds by Georoute

When these rounds were fed into the computer was the age of the postman taken into consideration ??
Surely a fit 20 year old is going to be faster than a 60 year old postman whose been plodding the street for 30 years .
You wouldnt expect a 50 yr old Seb Coe to run a 1500mtr race the same time he did when he was 20 years old

There are various walking speeds depending on what equipment you are using and what terrain you are on

For flat walking 5.95km 3.69mph( it used to be 6.44 )4mph

With an HCT 5.53 3.43mph

With a light weight trolley 5.59 3.47mph

Moving a cycle between delivery ponts 5.95 3.69mph

For HCT undulating 4.90 3.04mph
For HCT steep 5.19 3.22mph

Cycle 13.24 8.22mph

light weight trolley undualting 5.72 3.55mph
Light weight trolley steep 5.76 3.57mph

There will be some live testing taken on some of these but most of the speeds have been reduced and are now in geo route 2008 version.

No, after the planners had finished f**king up the walks and scarpering , counting their bonuses never to be seen again. Taking 5 months I might add.
It was down to a solitary postman from our office on light duties to go through all walks to make them a bit more workable in 2 WEEKS.
