After many months of waiting

The delivery office I worked at had gone through revision plans and plan to introduce van sharing (Can't as there is not enough room in car park and the car park about 8 minutes walk way need resurfacing).

We were told the changes is going ahead which is just moving start time from 6am to 7am and we will work 39 instead of 40. We will get lump sum for this next month.

It amazed me all that money spend and manpower on computers, nothing changed apart starting time.

We do more IPS now than we did before the revision we had!

Ever since we had our walk sequencing revision in June we have had more mail to manually sort than ever before. Have managed to just about cope with it over the summer but last week and the beginning of this week has been a total disaster. Staff took off ips since june to throw walks in and now noone to do the sorting.

We got this revision in November last year and it is still a mess. I hope you get a better planner and have a better DIM than we had as the planner knew nothing about what he was doing and the DIM asked for no input from us. We are now doing far more IPS than ever and that is AFTER walk sequencing machines were installed in our office too.

ips has increased because those with ips experience left and they did not replace them.

Wish Royal Mail stop staff throwing out other walks and get back to IPS. I would like to make all staff do IPS for 20 minutes together, then full timer finish off IPS for another 1 hr.

Then they'd have to take 1hr 20m delivery off me, most of the FTers have duties that they just prep and deliver because they're so large.

I couldnt agree more but i believe its even bigger than that, to near as damn it every office that has had a revision it seems the same, isnt it obvious to someone that this DOSENT WORK!

Since we've had WSM in we've more stuff on the IPS. I've asked the DIM why arn't they still running the old mech bundling machines along side the new ones, told me that 'the plans' have been removed from them Too be honest I think its because the M/C don't want to employ more staff they do their hours and then f**k off home and anything thats left over is just dumped on us to manually sort. 90% of the shite in front of me on IPS can be run through the machines and why is'nt the DSA coming in walksorted? I thought part of the pricing deal was to have the stuff prepared for delivery.
39hr week.......brilliant, you now get an hour less a week(10min day)to deliver everything!

After many months of waiting two new machines installed all jobs walked sequenced, working times changed, months of planning jobs to link each other for the vans. and other local offices getting there £600 while we only get £200. And we get told this week that the final stage of the revision that was planned for next month, which would supposidly trigger our £600 and get us the vans and trolleys has been cancelled due to Royal Mail havin no money.
