What makes a good or bad postman

According to the DOM its if you complete or not .
4 or 5 rounds at my office cannot complete most day with p/l and we get hassled about going slow not being organised BLAH BLAH because the rounds are too long
The rounds that are easier and finish on time or earlier are left alone.
Did one of the easier rounds the other week and it was twice as easy as mine .
Point I am trying to make is that the DOM think your a crap posty if you cut off or go over but if you complete you are great
Do they honestly think all rounds take the same time

A good postman takes his breaks,does the job properly using his trolley and does his van checks everyday.

A bad postman comes in early,never takes a break and runs round to get finished early like its 2002.

Well we have to weigh our yorkies before we leave now. Today mine was over 160k and the bloke before me was just under 100k. He gets done early every day and I don't!

P & L has totaly screwed up the eveness of the rounds!

That being said, I just work to my time and take lots back so they can make the rounds as ridiculously uneven as they like. They can bully and harrass me to thier hearts content as I really couldn't give a feck! !

Precisely why DOMs are regarded as being something of a joke, by....well......everyone really, even their immediate superiors think they're only one rung on the evolutionary ladder above a simpleton.
And whereas, we KNOW how little, senior management think of us, they, the DIM DOMs, refuse to face the truth of their sad existence, which is really rather pitiful, in a sad, sad, sad, sort of a way.
