How many P&L duties have you got?

I should have a word with your rep as to the reason why it has been decided to pair a FT and a PT and if in fact it has been agreed.

Most of our p&l duties are pt&ft pairs but not all your rep should be fighting to get 75/25 ft/pt ratio.

HCT guys get shafted cos they finish an hour later and if your duty get lapsed you are spare/floater.

After having gone through all the planning of New Duties and an Office Re-Sign my area has had all Revisions "Suspended"!Why because they don't save RM enough money (I don't think they care that they weren't going to work within allocated hours).

Rumours on the Grapevine indicate that the Offices that are Running the Revised Duties are Booking so much Over Time, to complete them all, that it's becoming Financially unfeasible to continue. We've been told that once these Offices are sorted out, and aren't costing so much to run, we will have our Revision.

I personally was happy to give the Revisions a try, as there was still a "Bedding In" Period where we could make "Minor" adjustments. Not sure if I've got more bills than everyone else but a bit of OT never really bothered me.Do the majority of RMC members really feel that strongly about having to work extra hours, and be paid for it? A lot of our Old Timers do Collections and PHG work to make a bit extra

Hi guys , just a quick question regarding the repick of duties after the PnL duties are available.

We got told today that the rounds are paired up, and they want a FT/PT combo on every duty. So when a FT picks a duty using the seniority list, the paired duty becomes frozen and cant be chosen by another FT person.

Their theory is that the FT man throws in and preps both rounds ,the PT arrives at 1030 and they leave with the 2 duties. The HCT guys do all the morning IPS whilst the van guys do their double prep. Now I can see their reasoning as to the office running smoothly BUT here`s a few quandries:

There`s gona be guys with 15+ years seniority having no duty to choose, and having to go spare doing a diff duty almost daily, and people with 6weeks experience having a pick of the rounds AND the partner.

Also ive heard from other offices, that the HCT guys get shafted coz when theyre coming out of the IPS the van guys are bagging up, whilst they have a full round to prep. And they take some of the HCT guys off IPS when people go sick, to get the van rounds prepped, and arent replaced, meaning these guys are on IPS for 2+ hours per day.

Some of the rounds are HUGE ands way too big, upto 6hrs in some cases, and some are WAY too small and can be done in 2hrs..

Also they say that were lapsing next year, so what happens to the HCT guys who`s rounds they decide to lapse through the summar? Do they just go floating/spare? It all seems so ill prepared and very very wrong and ive no idea what im going to do regarding picking a duty.

exactly how it works in our office, people with 14years service are now reserves and part timers who have been here 5 minutes got a pick.the walks are uneven. sometimes 2 fulltimers are on a shared duty or a part timer and a full time reserve who doesn't drive. its a shambles but what do we know

Our lads on IPS have the right attitude they just plod through the mail that's come in at a steady pace. Most of the "Double Preppers" seem to be the early birds that run around...so when they've thrown off the available mail for both their duties then they normally end up having to come onto the IPS. Not because the DIMs chasing them but because they've run out of mail and they're straining at the lease to get out the door! Oh those halcyon days when everyone turned up for work at the same time and everyone sorted until all the mail was done!
