Due to most walks being rediculously long with the new P/L and even longer if you use a trolley, the managers are trying everything to get people out on their delivery earlier saying inward sorting is too slow tying up, redi's, kill offs, sorting specials and big packets should only take 30 minutes.
They badger you saying "is there anything I can do to speed you up".

we haven't even done any sorting since p & l 3 months ago, they got extra night staff to do it

Reading between the lines from dingo and what I know is happening in my area...outdoor revisions will not be happening all the focus and revsision activity will be around the IWT and a revised (lower) model week. Senior managers now believe that there are savings to be had indoors rather than outdoors and so the bullying and harassment and 'performance' questions will begin again in earnest

hi you need to speak to your union about this the managers should not be doing your work they are taking your work away from you which is not good for your office be aware

IWT performance and bullying is happening in our office. new manager brought and who's asking, why haven't you got mail in the frame at 7am mon when you have a team brief and need to collect boxes from css machines first thing. He also stands next to you with a stop watch and timing you, even if you are new to duty. If you threaten working to time then it's in the office.

Exactly the same in our office, I thought the Indoor workload tool was not to be used to measure individual performance, only overall office performance. We are told what time we should be out the door and challenged on it. Mention working to time, and the proverbial soon hits the fan. Bullied like we've never been before and all this in the middle of a desk top revision trial. A trial where they are supposed to listen to the troops regarding tweaks to impossible deliveries. NO CHANCE computer says YES.
