Hello.
Am a union member.
A few weks ago, told my DOM i would go over my 39 hours for the week. apparently you cant book overtime time till the end of the week, if you finish early mon, tues you cant book if you go over wednesday thurs, fri etc. basically you have to work all 39 hours accross week first, apparently thats flexibility.

Anyway, the following week i had a holliday, and they put a 20 year old lad on, and apparently it took him 20-30 mins quicker each day to cover the walk. just for the record am not a slow walker, but i do the job correctly i dont rush. close gates, read the mail inbetween delivery points.
what can i do if they decide to take me off the walk, or make performence allegations against me? they wont test me on walk to see if am up to par, they are using someone else to test the walk, even tho they probaly are not doing it correctly with health and safety in mind.

No agreement to bank hours, so if you finish early and DOM has no work to make up the hours you can't be made to work extra later in the week!

only you as the walk holder can be used to test the walk. Stick in a grievance.
