i had a accident at work and was off sick because of it and because a senior manager who was turned down for evr made a deal that if he made the savings to fund it he could have it

so because i was on a stage 2 warning i was the one that was picked after being off for just 12 weeks i was forced to come in for interview the warning was issued giving me 10 days to return to work or dismissal

once i returned to work it was made clear i was going to be dismissed after 13 weeks if not on normal duties i kept being told to go home sick because i found a job to hard if i did i would be dismissed i was not even allowed to have special leave without pay to wait for surgery on nhs which i needed because of this accident at work

i had to pay £8000 to have surgery to be allowed another 12 weeks to get better because my 13 weeks was up because i did not get well enough to return in the 12 weeks after surgery

i was then dismissed not long after my dismissal my senior manager got his evr and the manager doing all the dirty work got promoted £52000 was saved by dismissing me instead of allowing the next senior postman his evr this saving went towards the managers evr instead even though he was to young and his job stayed the same

there were some other staff off sick same time as me but i was the only one already on stage warning thats why i was chosen first these people were allowed 14 months before they were called in for a warning same time as the office had to get rid of more duties need i say any more thats why i say bully and harassment scheme as far as management bullying postmen is a joke but what do you think

But he's right - bullying at Royal Mail is rife. They tried it with me, and they got right mugged off. Told the DOM to 'f**k off and kiss my arse' (in retrospect that doesn't make sense, but they were my exact words). Walked out, straight down the doctors, got signed off sick before they could start procedures - couldn't touch me for six months, on full pay. Sweet. Then a tasty pay-off.

In all seriousness we have only heard the posters side and it not likely that we will hear the other side, however even if half of what he says is right that he must stand a chance at an ET. He has made all the effort in getting himself ready to work again and they have just nixed him, I am guessing though that the time limit may have passed and there is nothing they can do.
