Kate Middleton's postman sacked

The village postman who attended the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton has been sacked.

Ryan Naylor rubbed ­shoulders with royalty, celebrities and world leaders at Westminster Abbey in May.

But after 18 years on his rounds in Bucklebury, Berks, including delivering post to the couple, he has now been fired by Royal Mail.

It claimed he was ­consistently late in emptying pillar boxes and taking the post back to his depot.
