Balance of staff payment

I have been asked to cover for the Balance of Staff and wonder if anyone could tell me wether there is an additional payment for this?

I used to do it and there is no extra pay for it, although my manager gave permission for a £30 training allwance to myself each week for doing it.

There used to be a supervisory allowance of around £25 as it was once considered “higher grade” work. You will need to speak to your dom as sometimes they might pay you a couple of hours OT instead.

:shock: We have a balance of staff manager, whose responsibilities, as far as I am aware, is to simply arrange staffing levels on a weekly basis. :cuppa :cuppa :cuppa :cuppa

I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
