As some may recall I attended a disciplinary meeting on Friday concerning two charges of gross misconduct against me. I was informed by the manager that he would consider his decision over the weekend. Therefore I was anticipating a definate decision by today. However, none has been forthcoming. As can be expected I'm not pleased about this as I want to be able to put this behind me one way or another. Is there a time limit to these things?
Also, I am right in thinking that once my case had been heard I.e. that the disciplinary meeting had taken place and I had answered the charges against me, that no other evidence can be produced (by either side) that can be used to in that particular case. It's really important that I have the definitive answers to this. Can anyone help please? To preserve anonymity, I can be contacted by PM in confidence if you prefer. I'm told that Big Daz might be a good source of advice.

I have taken advice from both but I need further opinions as I don't feel very confident in what I'm being told.Thehair wrote:To preserve anonymity, is there no rep in your office, Area rep in your area to discuss with?

Re: Outcome of disciplinary meeting
The conduct code which can be downloaded on here , clearly states in section 2 "guiding principles" that "when processing a case and new information indicating a different charge comes to light a new charge will be made. If evidence comes to light regarding the original charge e.g. its seriousness, the original case will continue". Regards when you get a descision from section 6 "the discipline process", its vague as the only reference to a time scale is "the earliest opportunity". Hope this helps....
