Pulled up at a big house out in the sticks to drop a parcel off... RM Combi van outside with engine running ( no IB about hopefully )

Walked round to door to find postie having convivial chat with customer, i joined in and we talked about this and that, eventually chat turned to state of royal mail....

I know how absolute rancid things are in RM at moment, but must admit i was gobsmacked when the postie came out with " i have been doing this job for 15 months, and have never had a meal break, never had time "

Says it all really.... but i know at that DO there are plenty of w@nkers who come in an hour early, dont book OT and are scared to cut off. The few of us who made a stand were undermined by the hand shandy merchants...

Wouldnt go back to that job for double the money.

Truly the modern Ragged Trousered Philanthropists. Not content with creating vast profits for other people, they don't even take the few crumbs they're given BY LAW. Why not just give half your wages to the employer too? After all, 'no time' to spend it to any disposable income!
