parcel delivery!

Hi just want to know is there a standard of how many parcels your supposed to deliver in an hour?

I know this may be hard to to do as factors change for the area your in, i.e traffic, roadworks etc.

But i was out the other day and delivered 21 in an hour, but yesterday only got 12 done, DOM was giving off,
i explained the first day they were all in one area plus the most of them were in(which helps when no P739 to write.
Yesterday they were spread out all over the show.
I checked downloads but couldn't see anything, want something to say it's an average per hour
Any help much appreciated.

who knows with RM they move the goalposts when it suits .I was left 30 or so parcels from day before spent 2 hours at a medical for AOD low and behold my manager built a case against me with a little bit of help from a member of public .Hey presto suspended and dismissed for WILFUL DELAY the delay was 53 minutes .Yet they can delay parcels for 53DAYS! and still have jobs

i made a similar post previously and i got it confirmed that its 15 per hour agreed with the cwu. anything over this is a bonus.

How long is a piece of string?
There is an amount that is put into pegasus for walk planning but that means naff all as such.
My drive I deliver less per hr than other drives in my place.
There is no real answer to this except do what you can.

There is NO agreement between the CWU & Royal Mail on how many parcels you can deliver in an hour. Influences such as town/ rural. Whether theyr're even in or a P739 being left; temp traffic lights; accidents; proximity between the calls - all of these and more have a detrimental effect. If a DOM or whoever says there is then ask THEM to print off the document as you'd love to see the agreement

yes i did although i lost it was really funny to watch a cluster manager ,and an appeals manager squirm ,and it cost them but hey ho life goes on

If the agreed amount is 15hr and i had 30 left from previous day plus intake of approx 30 i make that 4 hrs delivery time .On the morning in question i also attended a medical following aod. I had 2hrs of delivery time to clear all the parcels .Not possible needless to say i was suspended and dismissed .Thanks to all concerned all 3 of them.Hopefully they will get eventually what they deserve for putting my family through what was a very difficult time .
