Moving office. Any payment?

Hi, I'm hoping for some information. Our office is being re-located in a month or so and I was wondering if we are entitled to a lump sum for moving office? I'm sure I read somewhere of such an entitlement. There has been talk of petrol mileage money for the distance to the new office but thats all. Any information would be great.

Yes you are we moved office very recently.

The payments are a complete joke though. eg Postman A lives one mile from the old office gets £1300 postman B lives one mile from the old office also but gets £150

You get excess travel expences (ETE) based on the difference on mileage from your old office and new office if it is further i think you get Difference * Public transport rate * 2 eachway for 3 or 5 years depending on the difference. if you are nearer you get a single payment of £150. You can get this info from the MTFS agreement

Tell the pay people in Sheffield that you've moved to your parent's address, then you'll get the payment - just like for getting your children in a better school. - only joking.

We are due to move office next year. I think I will 'move' to my mums......in France........kerching!
