Knocked over a wall over whilst reversing once. Spoke to the owners who admitted it was pretty much falling over anyway and they were happy for me just to get rid of the rubble. Guess I got lucky!

As long as you don't go around regularly knocking things over you should be ok. They may moan a bit but accidents happen, you should be fine!

I bumped into a wall other day out the front of someones house and the bloody corner came off, like 5 bricks! I turned to shut the gate caught it with my leg bam right on the floor! Luckily no one see so I put the bricks back and carried on.

The gate post was rotten at ground level and the whole thing including gate fell over.

Did you get pictures? You should get the manager to go out to the property and look at the gatepost.

Don't stress..our phg delivered a 9am special and reversed up to a greenhouse. Delivered the special and as he set off just rolled back slightly and managed to catch the bumper on the greenhouse, as he set out........smash......he'd dragged the greenhouse off its base smashing all the glass and twisting the frame!!!

The one thing being a postman has taught me is how s**t the brickwork is people pay for, I walked past a brick garden wall and just brushed the concrete plinth, which made the top fall off along with most of the top layer and half/ of the bricks.

No complaints but I was dreading it.

I once did similar many many years ago on a nice rural van duty. Sunny Saturday morning and I'd taken my camera with me to take pics of the cottages as I went. Anyway, reversing away to get the 'right shot' and wham! Straight into a dry stone wall surrounding a house. I drove the van forward (Morris Marina van) and picked up the odd bricks and replaced. When I got back I reported the incident to the manager who said, "I'm glad you've told me - they've already been on the phone this morning and reported you!" Bastards! I thought they were in bed
