Driving duty
Could anyone let us know what are the rules about new drivers. Some of us thought that any new driver had to be 21yrs old or over because of RM insurance. Anyone out there able to clarify this as there are a few unhappy "would be" drivers at our office who have been bypassed in favour of an 18yr old new recruit with a 25 hr contract.

It never used to be 21, when we had cadets they were driving at 18 so unless anythings changed .......

may be an idea to check a 25 hour contract as this might not
included driving duties.
if he has a full-licence and been tested he can drive for royal mail.
but check his contract. he must be mad anyway.
