someone lost one in a D.O. near me and though hes gonna face conduct he wasnt suspended and will receive a penalty of some sort. Take the inevitable and dont do it again for your own sake.

Not exactly sure but I get this horrible feeling I may have left it on top of the van while setting up my trolley and forgotten about it. Told a manager straight away when I got back, he recons conduct code and I won't get suspended or sacked but I have to admit I'm pretty worried about it. Anyone get any experience of this sort of thing happening and what the outcome was?

2 been lost in our office, no action taken,,,,,the dom says there is no set procedure in place for this sort of thing as it hasnt happened before, not at our office anyways. been told some offices have 'holsters' to carry them, but we havent. no doubt once they outline and ringfence some procedural guidelines, it will be a different matter. get the rep involved, and tell him about this reply.....dont be concerned, you,ll be ok.

it amazes that we blame our self for this kind of accident when we as postman are under so much pressure now with park and loop some things are going to go wrong now and then

Well luckily someone found it and handed it in so that was a save, It's not been mentioned again so guess I have got away with it.

That is one good thing about the PDAs................nobody in their right minds would want one (and they do tend to bounce really well .
