3.5 hour delivery
Is the 3.5 hour delivery still in place if you have not had a walk sequenced revision?

Unless you don't want it to be.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

Re: 3.5 hour delivery
Most of the jobs in our office are 3.5hr according to Pegasus or past planners
nearly all are 4.5hr at least!
Whatever happens with your revision your finish time remains the same.

The 3hr30min max delivery span only ever applied to town walks, rurals could always be longer than that.DGP1 wrote:5 hour plus in my office for years (since the last revision) unless you've got one of the light town duties

What's a motorised town? It wouldn't by any chance be a town walk with a van rebranded a rural?DGP1 wrote:They changed ours from 'rurals' to 'motorised towns'belle smith wrote:The 3hr30min max delivery span only ever applied to town walks, rurals could always be longer than that.DGP1 wrote:5 hour plus in my office for years (since the last revision) unless you've got one of the light town dutiesstill, while the traffic is down a bit most of us can complete...........just
in an attempt to get round the max delivery span.
If so it's not a rural never was and when we had a 3hr30min max delivery span then you should have returned to the office after 3hrs30mins delivering.

Singleton vans on motorised towns is what will happen everywhere (much faster than P&L).

Re: 3.5 hour delivery
If your using a CDV van on a duty and you are exceeding 5 hours,
1) you have to have a break and
2) you should have a Tachograph fitted to control & monitor your hours of work. Even if your vehicle is at est, you are still working. If you are a greedy sod doing lots of overtime or 'Absorbing' other duties becausw you have 'the arm put on you', a Tacho is there for your protection! :vcfo
New EU Laws will demand this in the not too distant future.

I don't much fancy your chances of getting a 39hr week then, not if your already doing 5hr town walks.DGP1 wrote:They were only rebrandedafter the last revision which is too long a story to recall but suffice to say that everything that happened in my office then is happening to all other offices now

Why would RM want or need another revision in your office?
