What a nightmare. Started p&l today. On a round ive never done.
PDA wouldn't work at all, had bout 5 mins training. Got out of office at 10:45 and didn't finish till
4:30. Had a few weird looks. It was that bad, we was up and down an industrial site about 3 times.

Just a bit worried about the tracked items really. Seeing as the PDA wouldn't scan them.
And everytime I tried entering the delivery number it kept saying invalid :s arggh. Probably get bollocked tomorrow.

Just put in zeros when it crashes, it's what I do and i never got bollocked for it.

Should I be safe. I wrote the tracked numbers down on a delivery card, and whether they have been delivered or not.
They should be able to input them into the system tomorrow morning... shouldn't they?

If your PDA isin't working then just take the battery out, leave for 30 seconds then put it back in and that usually solves all problems :Very Happy (if you don't know your walk number then the 10 0's will do and just go ad-hoc for collections).

Really pi**ed off. Didn't even need to use the trolley today. And still finished at half 4.
Thursday is going to be fun, I will certainly be finishing for my time, Me and my partner.

What exactly does the ten 0's do? My PDA has messed up a couple of times and I have used ten 0's without ever hearing about it, and have never had any problems come back. Did I actually make up a fully acceptable number? :dance

We started ours today luckily the guy I was with had been there 20 years and he was driving and did all the PDA stuff. Basically just told me what to do, dropped me off and he did everything else and helped me out.

Think we finished at about 11:50. Tuesdays are always easy though tomorrow will be harder and I doubt I will be on this walk for long and then I will be the one using the PDA and delivering so kiss goodbye to finishing early/on time for me :(
