Are you off your trolley??

From square one.... I went through the revision, bringing in trolleys etc. Being the least senior in the division i got pushed out and got a walk in another division... I insisted in still using my trolley as i liked the job better that way, no weight on shoulder.... Now to the story. I got offered overtime today and because I was doing another walk couple miles away. The manager offered me a van to assist. This meant I didnt need my trolley as I could work from the van... I came back to the office and I thought a magician had Been there cos my trolley had vanished off the face of the earth... Where do I stand, I'm gonna contact the health and safety officer, but if they don't give me my trolley back can I refuse to go out on delivery under health and safety grounds???? Help quick

Trolley when is suits 'you'?

Anyway,if your new division has not had it's 2010 P&L revision and the duties have not been planned for trolleys then it's nothing to do with H&S,and unless you have been under ATOS who recommend you use a trolley (except where docket is concerned of course) then you haven't a leg to stand on.

Is Dynamo a manager at your place?

Did the 2010 and beyond agreement not have an off the shoulder paragraph stating any postie who wanted weight off shoulder could have the tools??, I remind u that I have received the money for translation into the new way off working even tho I hav moved to another division.... No i don't know dynamo??

Yes the revisions do give you that,but if the division you are in now hasn't,then unless you have a medical condition H&S is not in the mix.

If they take away the trolley then i assume you have enough drop boxes to complete the delivery without having to return to the office to pick up bags etc.

If not then thats what you do, when you run out of time and cut its because you have not got use of a trolley.

If he's no longer covered by the agreement then surely he'd qualify for the payout again if and when it's brought in where he is now then?

I 'think' as i kind of recall that it's only one set of payments.
We've had the convo on here before.
Not 100% tho (to cover my arse) but near enough.
