Driving, maps and sat navs...

hi all... did a driving duty yesterday. nothing too big just a standard duty really. got given a printed map of the duty, pretty basic map but was still ok and didnt have any problems. but it did make me wonder do any drivers use sat navs? are they allowed? or is it frowned upon by royal mail...mite sound like a dum question but was just curious.

theres one built into you pda just ask your office work place coach to show you how to use it

There's a sat nav function built in the pda's. Never used it on the road but found it by accident. :hmmmm

RM have no problem with you using the sat nav on the PDA or other device - we had them before PDAs anyway. The union however are against it as they believe it distracts you from driving.
