/as told today i'm too slow at prepping the 2 walks i do, the reason being other people were ahead of me and the reason for was people coming in early,working through their breaks part timers on earlier starts than my mate.i told him it isn't relevant were other people are and unless he tests everyone he isn't in a position to make any remarks about my performance.anyway since i go over most days and i do love to be appreciated for my efforts i'm gonna finish on my time from now on.he'll respond with threats and bully boy tactics which have wo rked on others in the office even to the extent where people go over and don't book so what should i be prepared for.

Keep a diary of events time and dates who said what and observe who is in doing stuff early and who is getting away with stuff,if your manager goes on then ask for a grievance form and get in touch with your union rep,push on and go for bullying and harassment,there is a correct procedure called non calc which takes twelve months to do,this is a process that they use to determine whether you are capable to do your job,you have to do all of the above so as to build a case to put toward prof of doing your job and this will also show that you are/are not being bullied.You have every right to just do your duty hours just make sure that if you can not finish your delivery that you tell the manager early enough and they should instruct you on what you should do,always make sure you have a trusted person as a witness and don't go anywhere without a union rep or a trusted work mate. Just do your job correctly and work till your time, thats all you've got to do.

If you can't complete your delivery because of it then its down to the DUM to sort it out and NOT you!

Log EVERYTHING down. And let HIM know you`re logging everything down. What i mean by letting him know....dont tell him directly ..... just let it be known, next time he collars you,by getting a little book out, and tell him, on such and such a date, Mr X came in early, Mr Y didnt take a meal break, etc etc........ he`ll s**t it, if he thinks you`re logging it all down.

Absolutley agree, protect yourself by writing everything that you observe down. I even take note of what walks with a similar structure to mine, do overtime, as I work to my contracted hours. If they accuse me of being slow and unable to finish, I am able to ask the Lino why he is not questioning those who do the overtime, why they are slow and not finishing. You have to keep two steps ahead at all times.

write a letter to your DOM stating that you no longer wish to be considered for overtime

include the fact that should you finish early you are more than willing to return to the office and partake in any work to take you to your finish time

of course if you want overtime you can't use this and if you want to go early when you finish early you can't use this - but otherwise it works

All these jobs worthy managers! i worked for British Rail before rm.At BR i saw all my managers get the boot first.The little ine managers
and acting managers will be first down the road i have seen this all before.The senior managment are doing exactly the same as they did to BR.I will be laughing my socks off soon.
