My saturday finish time is 2.15pm but my monday and Tuesday is 1.45pm finish, hows that work then??

Only pt(just been made up tp 35hrs). Last sat finished at 2.20. Depending on what duty i was doing before could finish anywhere between 11 & 1. As for the 1 in 4 sats off. Forget it. Its not for everyone, only those who are lucky enough to a duty with it. Still on 5 day week with rolling day off. Forgot to say as we are P&L that also means the ft guy or girl finishes at the same time.

Out door at 7.30 earliest for a 10.30 finish most Saturdays unless very busy but finished for around 11am most Saturdays .

I've gone from finishing around 10-10.30 to 12.30-1pm.

It makes a huge difference. That couple of hours is the time it took me to get in from work, wind down, have a nap etc - if we're going anywhere we could be on the road at 12. Now it's 3pm and by the time you get anywhere nearly all the day has gone.

Usualy out of the door about 8ish finish around 10:30ish on saturdays, fine and dandy you think but park n loop starts 8th august so all that ends then(luckily i'm on 2week leave then) ah well 11years of early finishes come to an end roll on 2025 if i'm not found slobbering on the kerb before then.

Had our revision for3 weeks now, had to cut off each time to make sure I'm back at the office before it shuts at 15:30.

My earliest finish any day of the week is 14:45, earliest start is 07:00.

Due to P & L out prep times have almost doubled, quite a few are taking around 4 hrs to prep, most on van share have 1500 delivery points now, whereas before the revision most ft deliveries were around 500, so we are in fact trying to do 3 mens work in the same time, mail is coming back every day, some walks bring back 5-8 pouches daily.

Same here , our walk sorted doesnt get to us till 8am so cant get out the door till 10.00-10.30, round is 1200 calls and takes 4 hours 45 mins.
cut off 3 to 4 bags everyday and the DOM's dont like it.
They try to tell you that we aren't organised enough and we just say to the DOM's walk test us then or you be my partner on park and loop for the day and then they walk off in a huff.
problem is as well I find on my round that has a lot of packets ( up to 60 or more a day) is that at the time of day we start there is nobody in and you waste time on the pda and then writing out the dockets afterwards.When they are in and notice its the postman and not the debt collector you have to use the pda again
Also the drivers loop is 5 minutes shorter than the walkers loop but the driver has to deliver up to 10 large packets in the loop in 5 minutes
Loops aren't loops in some cases as you have to deadwalk 400 yards to get back to the van on some estates that have paths and no roads.
As for using trolleys , forget it , use bags as a trolley adds about 40-60 minutes per walk and the bloody thing falls over when your bag is full

they still moan even if they finish mon tues at 1

You're supposed to use a trolley and you're not,is that right?
