Does any one know if us posties receive delivery supplement or RRIS supplement whilst on half pay. I go onto half pay after my foot op on August the 4th. I am trying to work out what income i am going to get. I asked my Lino and he told me to ring HR. They shut at 5 and i am struggling to get hold of them.
Does any one also know if i am entilted to SSP on top of half pay.

you will need to check your contract but i doubt you will get ssp on top of OSP

Yes, if you are entitled to SSP you will get it on top of your half pay.

i thought SSP was claimed by the employer to count towards any sick pay.

When you are near to going on half pay they should send you a form (i think it's about SSP) to fill out.

You will get SSP on top of your half pay. £81 I think.
But SSP runs out after 28 weeks. So you need to be aware of when SSP started. I think you get a form from DWP telling you about it and when it will end.

SSP is the minimum amount of sick pay that should be paid and most of it is claimed back. Company sick pay is up to the employer, RM chooses to pay half pay + SSP (if the employee is still entitled). It can be quite complicated to work out when your SSP runs out or when you go on to half pay if you've had more than one absence. Try your best to get through to HR so they can check your absences and calculate the the right date of half pay and when your SSP expires.
