Should I be worried?

Ok, so my original 3 month contract expired last saturday, however my manager assured me this was being extended and therefore I have been working all this week. So is it a coincidence that today is the first time since starting that I haven't received a payslip, or should I be expecting the worst tomorrow

Even if you were finishing up you would still get a payslip so nothing to worry about .

if its of any use to you,,,im full time an didnt get a pay slip 2day,,,,,,,,,,i deliver payslips to 2 postman on my walk,,,and 3 out of every 4 weeks 1 of them doesnt get his slip till friday,,,,dunno why.

Wouldnt worry too much your new contract will probably turn up with your payslip soon!

If you're a casual normally they have to wait 2 weeks to renew your contract, so if you worked after your contract ended you will get paid in a couple of weeks, hope i'm wrong though.

Almost exactly the same thing happened to me on my first renewal date. The letter asking me if wanted to continue working, came about about a month later

Sine then, it's usually between 4-6 weeks before the renewal date. Currently sweating on the latest one with three weeks to go
