Could someone please help. I am on a 27 hour contract and was told this morning that i only get 20 mins prep done for me. As i am quite new(nearly 3 months) and now on reserve i have to do all of the rest.this is taking anything up to 2 to 2 and a half hours to complete especially when i am on a new walk so not knowing the frame does not help.This week i am doing a walk thats taking me 4 to 4 and a half hours to complete so i have to try to claim up to 2 hours overtime which they are now saying you cant(i am seeing the dom tomorrow to have a word and see the rep if needs be) i dont mind doing a bit of overtime but they are giving me the feeling that i cant do the job. Is there any rules on prep times as i am getting totally pissed off.
I do actually enjoy the job so i dont want to pack it in but i cant believe how badly this company treats you

Not if needs be,see him,and see him before you see your manager,if he's decent he will be able to help you outand see the rep if needs be

just work your hours, prep varies per frame, and whether the mail is sequenced, I used to be a floater and each walk has different prep times, no matter how experienced you are, dont get disheartened with it.

My 27 hour contract is 9.00 -1424 , so take my half hour break of, which i dont have but always add to any overtime done, i have 5 hours to do everything ,will they supply a rocket up my ass to get it all done.
Also i always start on time and dont run
