Started revision last week, 12 week trial started last week.

Went wrong on day one, peope were coming back over two hours late on early day, but teething problems, yeah?

As the days pass the pressure builds, on members on dom and lino's

Then SNAP, managers encouraging people to come in early, dont use trolleys etc. People s**t themselves as they are pulled in to be "interrogated" about their performance and it all collapses into a state of fear and cowardice. Then of course there are those that never even used the trolleys and made eveyone doing the job properly look like idiots.People now running around with bags on their back trying to get done on time and the managers turning a blind eye to everything to make their DSM hAPPY.

WHAT THE F HOPE HAVE WE GOT AS A WORKFORCE?????????

I guess it's a kicker actually seeing it as to rather reading about it.

Yes its been a difficult couple of weeks, but not as difficult as realising there seems little i can do about it, that for me is the kicker.

they cant carry on with the extra workload, the usual overtime kings are now getting so rundown with all the cut offs that injury and sickness is going up.
People used to come in early before starttime to finish early , now whats the point as they will tell you to go out and do some more.
I go in early and sit at my frame and drink coffee till my start time and that winds them up even more

Yep same in my office.People coming in early.leaving trollys in van and using bags on their backs and returning early.I hope these will have some work added to their duties from some of the guys that are doin the job properly...sweet

The longer the P & L goes on in our office... the more people are going back to thier old ways, getting in early etc.

Only a few of us now doing things the way they are supposed to be done, not enough to get much changed now the dumb fecks I work with have basically screwed us over and shot themselves in the foot at the same time!

I can,t understand their mentality. We have some come in early to prep door to doors. I think they book the time if they go over, but I go in on my time, prep door 2 doors in duty time and still get out before some of them that come in early. They must have a poor homelife.

no probs full time release and any H&S rep will monitor every bag any follow people about making sure they don't put two dropbags into one pouch from pouch box, make sure drivers refuse overloaded pouches , take car keys so they don't use personal transport ...... wipe arses and tuck them up in bed.Or you could stop blaming others and look at yourself.

If you had bothered to read the thread and the link to the thread i posted you would realise that this isn't about pouches or holding members hands.
It's about H&S reps using Royal Mail's own documents to ensure managers enforce the mandatory use of the assigned delivery methods....in this case...trolleys.

BT2010...Once assigned the use of equipment specified for the route will be mandatory.

the offices who have this now working in their areas did the staff vote this in.

and to be honest with you all i have no idea how this works but staff must have had a say
before it was brought in.it does seem that most offices hate this new idea so why was management
allowered to introduce it to delivery offices.
