What a load of shite our uniform is in hot weather. 45% polyester in this heat?! I may as well just wrap myself up in foil and be done with it. A couple of summers ago the management tried getting us to wear the hi-viz waistcoats as well, they were told wear to go.

If you're too hot then your working too hard, I only manage to work up a little bit of a sweat because I don't go too hard at it :nervous

There are many replies I could post to that but................

Given that where you deliver and where I deliver it barely got above 13 degrees today (we were lucky it didn't rain) working up a sweat in the heat is the last of our worries.

33c in my van today with the broken fan , got through 2ltr of water. In the end purely for H&S reasons i had to open the window :oops:

Wear the floppy hat, looks silly but it does keep you cool. I wore a bikini under my shirt at work today so when I was out I took the shirt off and wore the high-viz over the the bikini top :dance nice and cool.
