Today, the dick in charge at the huddle says, we will be telling you when to have your break, we may need you to take your break out on deliver, or the whole 40 mins at once!!!!

Tuesday, a shared van pair got told , get tied down, have your break, take a bit of a lapsed duty, and get out............ they did, ,came back early,(easyish tuesday) and the dick told em that they are due the time back!!!!!!

Some guys are allowed to finish on the street, the vast majority are going out in a van each, and some of us have our specials, tracked, packets done by the light duty/rehab guys.
Christ, all i seem ti do is moan, argue, and get het up in work, and eff all is being done about it, we have the area rep here every day, and hes not exactly filling the lads wi confidence.
He should be challenging every made up decision these fools are coming out wi.
Today, again, the scotland director appeared turned up, kelly, after numerous grievances were filed again, and some heated debates between us and them, .....one guy was told his break was over, as he spent some time collecting a quid from us all for school gym equipment(a one off from him), and still some people help them out,working days off etc! i just cant get my head round it all.Its a concerted campaign of harrassment, from 07 12 til we are out the door, theres no stopping them.

I don't think our park and loop is going to happen at all.After all the meeting that our postal rep has had they still haven't got anything sorted.They said at least 3 months a month ago AND THIS WAS SOMETHING THAT WAS DUE TO HAPPEN IN MAY.This is probably a good thing because personally I hate everything about it and is it really working in the areas it has come in??????GOOD RIDENCE to it.It will all come out in the wash when get PRIVATISED anyway.

I would ask this manager for a B+H form and make sure the rest of your colleagues do the same, bring your points up at WTL.

join the club - trouble is there are people running and making old hands in the job look stupid !! everyone out for themselves so i have decided you need to make your OWN decsions on how to deal with this big problem - i find it hard to see how they are getting away with all this extra work , 5-6 hours of solid walking ?? not good , and how have they got away with putting all the collections in with duty !! its far too much and disgusting - sadly no one seems to be able to do much ?? im sure with such a big change we all should have had options offered to us as the job is just too much workload now - not much more i can say as im poorly

You need to stop stressing, we got P & L had it a few months now.

You need to accept the fact that you will work to your time and do whatever they demand from you in your working hours... but nothing more!

Forget about what everyone else does and just get on with what you have to do. Haven't quite mastered this myself yet but I'm not far off it now and believe me you will feel better when you get your head around it!

Let all the managers snidey comments and bully boy tactics go right over your head. They tend to get wound up when you don't react so DO NOT REACT and you have won half the battle. Do everything by the book and they can't do a damn thing against you!

to be honest i dont think it would make any difference to strike as the only losers would be us again,i cant believe the cwu agreed to this and told us this was the best deal , the working conditions are worse than they was more b&h from doms and the reps {not all} are doing nothing to protect the members, does it depend on what part of the country your from and just what did the cwu get out of the socalled deal of the century which wasnt about money it was working conditions.

The problems the managers see, are the ones like me, who do the job to the letter, start at right time, break for the correct time, van check, door to doors prepped individually, and not all in the biggest one, i use a trolley, drive at 25 mph in a 30 zone, i work out the back o the van, wash van minimum o once a week in their time, see what im getting at.

Its the tits that run round and get finished, speedin in the vans , counting the mail as they walk, take short cuts , hurridly scribble out p739 s,finish early that i see as the problem,


No matter how much we argue wi the dums,they are always right.
for over 25 years iv seen the idiots run round, and every year, i see an office manager seeing scope to cut more hours out the office, the runners moan, and as soon as a revision comes in, back they go to flying round again,its a never ending cycle.

Its hard no to blow a gasket at the management every day,they really are the most pig ignorant, brainwashed,annoying chunts you can get

Idiots will always be idiots! But letting it get to you will achieve nothing but get you wound up and shorten your life span. If they want to bust thier balls then let them that's thier problem. Stressing over it makes it your problem and it really isn't worth it!
