These are people taking work off us by doing the job we do but under cutting us. They achieve this by:calpsy wrote:THAT will teach him eh ??? At least YOU are happy eh ??

*Breaking the law - No/incorrect insurance, un-roadworthy vehicles and un-secure vehicles.
*Piss poor quality of service - Door stepping, crap/expensive redelivery options and general disregard for the the safety of peoples packages.
*Working for nothing - They do this hoping to get more work that might earn them something. Basically they are stupid enough to allow our competitors to exploit them.
It's bad enough that we cannot compete fairly with our competitors but when you see these private couriers working for Hermes breaking the law to further gain an advantage by driving round in a 3 door beaten up rusty Corsa that's so overloaded with packets that it's axles might break any second. It kinda takes the piss.
So when I see or hear of these w*****s getting busted for not being insured or driving an un-roadworthy vehicle you'll have to excuse me while I stand with DPG and

So you're happy he drives around with no insurance? Ever been in a accident with these tossers? Got knocked off my motorbike by one. No end of trouble it caused.calpsy wrote:THAT will teach him eh ??? At least YOU are happy eh ??

So when this clown crashes into you, your first response would be "it's ok it's his livelihood"
I HAVE NO TIME OR SYMPATHY FOR INSURANCE DODGERS.

I wasn't gloating.................I was pissing myself laughing, I have to pay for my insurance so all these tossers who don't deserve everything they get, I personally hope that the police stop everyone of those couriers and ask them for their insurance because I can guarantee that they do not (probably no tax, MOT or even licence) and if they hit you then you have to claim off you own insurance...................so f*** him and his dodgy car, I hope he had to pay dearly for it.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

So in your little imaginary world, all couriers working for Hermes etc, have no tax, insurance, MOT or licence.....
So glad you havnt started generalising

Re: Britian Toughest Cops
Do they though??? Do you seriously think that all these self employed people carry full insurance, some of the ones I see I can't believe are even road worthy (judging by the sound coming from it and the jagged pieces sticking out all over).savo wrote:DGP1 wrote:I wasn't gloating.................I was pissing myself laughing, I have to pay for my insurance so all these tossers who don't deserve everything they get, I personally hope that the police stop everyone of those couriers and ask them for their insurance because I can guarantee that they do not (probably no tax, MOT or even licence) and if they hit you then you have to claim off you own insurance...................so f*** him and his dodgy car, I hope he had to pay dearly for it.

If these people where really serious then they would buy themselves a van and keep it in decent condition otherwise I'll always have my opinion that most of them are just gangsters who are driving around with no insurance.

Yes it has and I can't remember people jumping over people for taking the piss out of them, calpsy is just some idiot who delights in trying to annoy people and savo couldn't hack it as a postie and has now joined the ranks of Hermes (or as I like to call them, the invisible couriers because you never see them even when they actually deliver to the right address..............when I say deliver what I actually mean is throw it at the general direction of the door).POSTMAN wrote:Has happened to posties as well.
