Certainly some interesting posts on there concerning working for the competition.
This would suggest to me the professional drivers have already seen the light and gone walkies,TNT Sameday may have some big contracts but i honestly don't think as a whole there making much money from them,through the years TNT have created a false economy for themselves,hell labour created a false economy for all of us for years and now look at the problems the whole country has,this year will be very important for TNT Sameday they either have to get rid of all the lose makers and find some money maker.
By robbing from the drivers won't save TNT Sameday.
I have noticed some very odd and iffy people doing TNT runs latley.
As i have been off mending my leg for the last 2 and a bit months I have been signing for deliveries up here in Wakefield where I am being cared for. So I have been meeting the drivers and I have to say there is absolutly no profesionalism at all, many have issues with speaking English, many seam to be unable to read, most are smelly and driving beat up 15 year old cars or at best you get a tatty transit van covered with paint and or concrete etc.
Its obvious none of these people are being paid anything worth talking about and that companys like TNT couldn't care who they sub out to. The biggest worry is our precious deliverys are being handled by people you wouldn't trust to mug your granny let alone carry out hold a position of trust. Many of the TNT drops here the guy just leaves the pack at the door as does the UK MAil driver. When we chase the POD it simply says the name on the drop address, go figure!
Some people just have no pride in there work and some companys just dont care about there customers. They are screwing the customer and the drivers, and the drivers are stupid enough too work for a loss just to keep the DWP happy.
So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet
