URGENT Help needed....

I had an 'issue' with a manager this morning..... I need to urgently speak to somebody senior in Royal Mail HR or Staff support I'm not sure where to look or who to ask If anyone can offer any advise I'd greatly appreciate it. Is the main RM place in Mount Pleasant London?

I can't say anything at the moment but I've been physically sick and have spent the last hour trembling with stress I just feel in a daze.

Hope you get sorted out mate. I can't offer any better advice than those above although we do have a s**t hot rep who could probably offer some advice if you're stuck.

Thanks all :) I've managed to speak to somebody higher up in RM and have been given a name to contact. I want to say that this isn't a bullying/harassment/performance thing in the traditional sense. Without me actually saying what it is and probably revealing who I am which at this point I don't want to do I will say that whats happened would have been understandable in certain circumstances but NOT how its actually happened. Have managed to speak to a couple of people outside RM and despite jaws hitting the floor have been advised to get the police involved. Gonna (try and) sleep on it.

BTW tried to call the helpline but all operatives were busy. will call back.

Standard Management tactics Enzio. Need to get rid of some staff just keep messing them about and harassing them. You'll get a few who just can't be bothered with the s**t and they'll walk. Saved yourself some more redundancy Payments! It's a Cynical System that sucks don't let them get away with it. Hope things sort themselves out Indy.

Indy , while its fresh in your mind write everything down , times ,circumstances , location, what was said and by whom.

Also any witnesses or people who may have had a similar experience . You will feel better when its on paper and can rationalise it better.

Remember though that Human Resources are not always there to help you but rather protect the company. So get good advice from your rep about the way you approach them.

I believe the b and h helpline is independent though

Thanks have done... still feel sick but spoke to a manager not connected with this and they said 'in not so many words' "be careful" if a manager wants you OUT its only a waiting game on their part. I think theres a lot more to whats happened and that pushing is going to make me RM target No1 not only with this (minor) manager but more powerful ones with more clout.

Who signed me off
Words such as duty of care stress responsibility and solicitor worked wonders
Try to get some sleep and make sure you see your doctor asap and your rep
