I got told today that revision cancelled in our office , I'm in the ML sector , is this possible ? :crazy:

It'll be up the chain who's cancelled it, ours has been postponed over and over again because they need to put hours in.

possible ours was due on Monday had been agreed by the Union and RM, at all levels - got to the Bean Counters and they nixed it. Revision and payments now cancelled/postponed - apparently at the Directors level now.

It looks from what DOM says is that the finanacial bods want all savings now rather than 50% now and the rest when DM goes in.

All these revisions being put on the back burner because the savings are not what they want,which goes against the agreement (lol),why are we not pulling out of all revision activity nationwide.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The doves :left: negotiated BT 2010 and they were cool with the revision process putting in hours if necessary.
The hawks :left: are now in the hotseat and though they spout the same bullshit, the revision process was always a cost saving exercise for them.
Offices where a DMR show the need for extra hours to be put in are in the s**t. Hawk s**t.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

ML2 was supposed to be done last year, still not happened afaik, but they are still messing around with the walks. The revision cancelled rumour has been going around since last October. Although, have found the area rep is rather good at keeping people in the know, or he was when I was still there :wink:

our main revision (vans) was supposed to happen in nov 2010. now were told its at least feb 2012. we were supposed to havbe our desk top revision 3 weeks ago. now thats delayed. they want us to collapse 2 more walks and redo the entire thing from scratch.

Our revision has been postponed indefinitely as well. Its not all good news though as our DOM seems to have decided to make the saving by using B&H to make us do extra work for free instead! :shock:

It seems the Network logistics 2011 review/revision is still going ahead, so as to achieve our £400 bonus for its implementation.

ML6 , Been told that the revision has been posponed until Feb'12 but unlikley to happen at all

Cliff didn't they make a balls up of ML11 and 8 about 18-24 months ago too? Seem to remember loads of posties out late when they redid something...
