Lots of reported problems with P and L all over the Country ,wich I am sure you can only put down to Posties not doing it correctly (certainly thats what RM says)

Not got P and L in our office yet ,matter of weeks.After 18 months and 2 planners and suposedly listening to Posties in our office rounds have been put up with in some cases 2 posties doing the job of 4 on certain areas.

Now all the Posties with expirence say these new rounds cant be done,Management say they can be.
The planners are obviously clever and knowledgable people ,or you would hope they would be to be in that posistion.

so why dont the CWU insist before P and L is introduced in any office,the walks have to be tested on a Thursday and Friday
under proper conditions ,ie just as it should be done by the Planners .

If the Planners can do the new walks on time ,no problem then so should the Posties.
If however the Planners cannot do it on time,
Then they should not hold that posistion ,and certainly no walks should be introduced unless they can be done by the planning team on time .
Simple and fair to everyone.

Most of the planners appear to be big fat men.
I think some would die if they had to go out on delivery.

Our planner wasn't big or fat and he didn't wear a pink shirt.
...and we did force him out to test some of the loops.
...but he still made an arse of it.

Our planner does his 'planning' in the WTL room. We went in one day for our WTL session and found two pen lids on his desk that had been chewed to such an extent that they resembled a dog's teething toy. Either he's bored, worried, or is a bit of a shih tzu for brains, none of which fill us with much confidence.
