HR1 or Grievance, which one is best

Been told by area rep to stick one of these in against manager after I refused lapsing today.

Manager suggested my sort and prep standards have dropped, which they have but not below minimum. Told me he personally would manage my time, keeping me in the office until he feels I can go, rather than the set time everyone else leaves.

When I asked him to put it in writing he told me the only writing he'd be doing would be a conduct code.

Standing at the bottom of the primary staring at 4 of us is off putting, intimidating and unnerving.

Today 5 of us were on the primary from 5 until 7.20, due out at 7.45. Four of us didn't do lapsing due to this, the other did cos he threw a tray in early. Of course it was our fault the ips wasn't done, not a management problem.

I was furious this morning and felt he was putting pressure on me, tantamount to B and H I'm sure.

It's gonna be one or t'other, grievance first maybe, then the bullying and harassment form if nothing changes.

You could put grievance in 1st for what it is worth, go straight to stage 2.
You have 3 months from date of incident to put B&H form in.
Well that's procedure RM always follow agreed with CWU

Unless you can PROVE it's B&H then don't do it, they will conduct you for putting a 'malicious' claim in if you fail (happened to several over here) so stick with the grievance form, I haven't heard them putting a conduct charge for failing one of them.

I'd stick a grievance form in tbh

Take the grievance route and contact your Area Rep asap.

If the gaffer challenges your sorting speed, hand him your mail and ask him/her to show you how to do it - and ask him what the standard is and what agreement it comes from.

Can you finish your duty in your time if your allowed out at 9.45 ?? If not then tell him every morning you cant finish .

Well no actually, because the next bus wouldn't come until 10.15 getting me to first del point at 10.30. Therefore lapsing would deffo go out the window and without booting it, I wouldn't complete my duty.
