i was not on my normal del today,placed on another duty ,no training,last time i was on this duty was approx 5-6 years ago,it is a van duty,so i thought this morning i would make up all the bags to deliver in a loop,YES PARK AND LOOP,what a nightmare,i had 2 hrs docket,what a waste,i would have saved an hour by using a bike,BUT GUESS WHAT OUR DOM SAYS WHEN WE HAVE p&L IN OUR OFFICE SOON IT WILL WORK,TOTAL BULL

I gave it my best shot today told manager what i would be leaving and what i took was right up to my time got back to office the mail i left was still in frame i reminded him that the mail was still there and he said there was no one to complete it so i said well it will be still there tomorrow
lets see what happens tomorrow and see whats left again at 1428 finish time who cares a toss any way i only work for the money not to die young

Got in this morning (Sat) had some help from an agency lad, asked manager if i was getting the £30 training money he said you are not training him he's just helping you deliver what you would leave, so what did i do i gave the lad what i left Friday with Saturdays mail poor lad this was his second day didn't know were the roads were i pointed him in the right direction and off he went when i finished my delivery i didn't see him so he might still be out there and to finish a crap week when i got back to the office it Thundered and poured down what a fitting finish to the 1st week of the new duties. Herendous
Some of my work mates by the end of the week had had enough they started the week off by staying out and booking overtime and by Thursday they were kackered and said bollocks only weeking up to there time now. I have left mail every day and if the manager say to me why you can't get round i will tell him i don't feel well and go home.See if he get the picture

Dont do this otherwise they will get the attendance procedure on you. What you have to do is tell the manager before you start your round that you will not be able to finish it all. As long as you tell him each day. Dont fall into their traps.

I won't be falling into the trap as i have a disability number for a Artifical Hip and after having to deliver and all the hills i had to endure for 4 hours the new hip was burning and the other one was hurting they are aware of my problem
One of my work mates came in the other day said he will be Preping his walk bagging up and going home and thats what he did he had Blisters all over his feet from walking for 4 hours after 25 years of being on a cycle
