Hi, Im new here, I am looking for the parcel/packet delivery standards are average amount of packets per hour. I have just moved onto the new hybrid duties and our office manager is claiming 60-70 packets over 3 hours is not good enough!! Needless to say myself and the 3 other lads doing this are bemused and would like to know what the standard is so we can stick to it.
I have searched but cannot find a definitive answer, hopefully somebody can help.

I was under the impression it was 15 per hour. I'm not sure what that means, whether it is 15x P739, or just 15 attempts or what?
It was thrown in a conversation by an ex-union rep and I didn't question it but it does seem a little low these days, especially as I often have 4+ driver packets per 50 house street.

He must be trying it on 60- 70 in 3 hours is 1 every 2.5 minutes. attendance calls are I believe 2 minutes per house - so thats 30 seconds driving between the address points.

17 per hour average as far as I know.
60-70 p over 3 hours? He must be implying that you should speed, not wear seat belt, park anywhere, knock once only, grey bin everything.
Know your rights. 17 per hour is a guideline but remember, if you do your job right, it doesn't matter if you average under or over this.

well today there was 85 packets to do in 3 hours, needless to say that just over half got done!!!

You have to have a figure for resourcing..but that's all it is.
Just like with the IWT and pegasus managers will try it on.
