Long story short.

At the beginnign of May DOM altered my contract to full time

After 5 weeks still being paid 28 hrs per wk as a part timer.

During this time made several verbal complaints myself and by Union Rep about delay, DOM said on several occasions to myself and Rep "I will attend to it"

Tuesday just gone, DOM tells me he will send my details to HR along with others in this phase of the revision, and to claim hours owed (56) as excess and to see Lino.

Lino says he can't claim that as excess because I've been away on holiday, and he will speak to DOM.

Today because of indoor work this morning, I cut off my walk at my 28hr finish time of 13:15, and brought a pouch of mail back, told Dom, he is now saying that as I don't want to do excess he assumes I don't want full time work.

I think that is tantamount to bullying, what do you guys think ?

Were the changes to your contract in writing? Or just a temporary thing? Either way, at present they owe you money---best write directly to your DOM, they then HAVE to relpy
to your queries--tell him you are no longer prepared to wait for money owed and remind him they have a legal duty to pay you.

As for cutting off, although understandable, this could make things a little difficult, but again , get him to clarify if you had indeed been made up to full time or not.

If they want you to work full time hours then they should be AT LEAST paying you OT for the difference in hours. Sounds like you are being conned to be honest

Personally I would put in a grievence and stop working any extra hours unless paid. 56 unpaid hours is a blatant p*** take!

If he's still holding onto the money RM owes you just drop a few hints about the small claims court. Our ex DIM's face was a picture when he got a letter from the SCC from one of our PT's.

It's not me picking and choosing my times, it's the DOM moving the goalposts to excuse his cock ups, and changing it to suit him.

Had our Deputy Rep phone me this evening, apparently it's all been sorted, all it took was a phone call from the area rep to the DOM, the area Rep is phoning HR tomorrow to check that the upgrades have been done.
