FT to PT against my will

Sorry for the heading I know it soiunds a bit dramatic but I couldn't think of anything else.
I am currently working in a rural office on a full time contract. (3 FT dutues at the moment)

DOM wants to reduce hours, the new structure would be be 2 full timers and a PT 4 hrs a day duty.

Options are a floaters job FT, or split job MC and floating duties. Neither appeal. I would be willing
to buy down hours or take redundancy but I have been told that buying down and redundancy would not be offered because
Vacancies exist.

Any advice you could offer?

The only thing I can say with any certainty, is that they can't reduce your contracted hours to PT, without you agreeing to it. As to what you could do if there's no suitable FT vacancies, I have no idea. What does your Rep suggest?
