new duty

supposed to start my new duty on tuesday but the boss has put me down for another round as nobody else is trained on it, but is not classed as a skilled round, can he do this?

we are basically all " as directed " now in our office which means you do what your told when your told , and that means anyone

It will happen sometimes.
It shouldn't happen often.
Get your rep to bring it up at this week's resource meeting that the reserves need to be trained on more duties so that the chances of it happening again are reduced.

The skilled round in out office is a village where every house is named, no street names or numbers, loads of hidden houses up alleys e.t.c, only about 3 people in the office know it, and people that live there are all interbred.

and google earth don't exsist down there either! and A to Z wouldn't be of any help.
