How can you have a Walk Sequenced Revision before having a Delivery Methods Revision?

If walk sequenced mail strips out indoor hours and increased delivery spans are the only way to protect full time jobs, how do you increase the delivery span without a DMR?
Has anyone had a WSR before a DMR?

Isn't this where the...consideration can be given to varying the span length provided that genuine and demonstrable solutions to weight and fatigue are introduced...part of the agreement kicks in?
i remember at the time asking my Divisional Rep exactly what genuine and demonstrable solutions to weight and fatigue are without delivery methods but i never got an answer then so i doubt you will now.

hi ccr......is this the same thing,,,,,,we have the 1st lot of mail at 5am sent up as walk sequenced,,,,,then the next lot at 7 ish 1/2 the office get it sequenced and 1/2 dont....im unlucky i get the 2nd lot in a tray but not sequenced LOL.
the management now have the majority of a 50 person d/o throwing in ag walks so leaving approx 4 people on the primary,,,,we aint had the revision yet and still get sh_t loads of unsorted mail.

Does everything need to be sequenced to qualify as a WSR? Depending on the day and how 'heavy' it is, we sometimes get all of our Mech sequenced, but never any flats. We've yet to have a delivery methods revision.

Yes we are about to undergo a WSR. Reason being we cant have a DM without moving to a brand new office. There have been rumours since the 1950s that we are going to be moved (My uncle worked for the PO before he got called up)and we are still here. Have barely enough room for the fleet we have now never mind and increase when we get P&L.

What they are doing to balance the Indoor hours is reduce the number of full timers covering those hours so the delivery span is saying at 3:30. They are also tweaking the call and attendance rates downwards as well so that the planned delivery is as tight to the 3:30 as they can get, Can see a lot of strife further down the line.
