within your contracted hours they can make you do anything they want but that is as far as it goes.if you cannot finish on time cut off but tell them why you are cutting off and ask them what they want you to leave.

No such thing as a part time duty and as walk sequence mail come in triple prep will be the norm going forward to maintain full time jobs.

We started double prepping on Monday with the introduction of revision version 2 . Today at least five managers and four posties were drafted in from different offices to pull us out of the sh*t , on top of this we had our own staff booking lots of overtime . Maybe this might be a weekly occurrence in the future , they might even invest in a RM tour bus , calling from office to office keeping modernisation on track. The job is impossible now and is seeing off some brilliant posties who for years have been an asset to Royal Mail . Four posties have left since the introduction of revision version 1 in December . How some of the one's knocking on in years are keeping the pace is beyond me . This week we've had a lad hand in his notice , the managers want him to change his mind and have give him the rest of the week to think about it . I just don't know how RM can replace guys like this . I still think it is a good job but the bad days are on the increase and the tipping point were the majority of days are bad aren't far away .
