40 hours down to 39

Is it part of the agreement that when we lose the hour from our weekly hours that is HAS to be 20 mins later start on monday, 20 mins later start on tuesday and 20 mins later start on saturday? Or can WE as a union decide how best we want to accomodate the 1 hour less from the week? Its just that today i was told it was nationally agreed that we use the method i posted at top for our 1 hour less a week.

No national agreement on how to implement the SWW.
Purely local and should be part of the walk sequenced revision process.

it will be longs and shorts 5 mins 1 day 10 mins anther till you get id off the 1 hour

The way they lost the hour at our delivery office was to make the start times 06.12 instead of 06.00 six days a week,neither here or there really.

they take it 15 mins monday 15 tuesday and 30 on a saturday but watch out as if you work it out you need 7 extra mins a week due to how you day off or week off works ie tuseday start time 7.52 in ours and time will not be taken from end of duty ...

In our office we get an extra saturday off every six weeks instead of having the time shaved off during the week!

About the only bloody good thing that came out of the last deal!

In our office the 'manager?!!'

want's to save 50mins of the 1hr reduction by knocking 5mins off of conveyance out and 5mins off of pouching off each day.

Not sure quite how it was worked out but the extra time we do during the weeks apparently adds up to a Saturday off? I'm not going to question them over it just incase they change thier minds!
